The new staff position requires a high degree of technical knowledge, together with qualifications and experience in spatial data management, spatial analysis, and projects administration.. You could be involved on infrastructure concepts/planning, greenfield renewable project design, or defence site related upgrades.
You will regularly deal with staff from other disciplines and business lines, with the person in the role needing to possess very good communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
The Senior GIS Analyst Specialist role is one that exists within a fast-paced environment of increasingly complex technological change, and this position requires a commitment to keeping up with developments within the geospatial industry, and the pursuit of knowledge of current and emerging technologies.
You will have at least 5plus years’ experience within the geospatial industry and a strong knowledge and demonstrated recent experience in the use of the ESRI suite of software, including Geodatabases, Geoprocessing Tools and Extensions.
Experience with programming and scripting within a spatial systems / GIS environment, including but not limited to C++, Python, NET, JavaScript, and SQL
