We are currently recruiting to fill two GIS/Spatial Information Officers roles in regional Victoria.

The first role is in Eastern Victoria and will cover a staff member who is away on extended leave for 12-16 months. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years local government experience using ESRI or MapInfo products as well as a complete understanding of local government/council operations. Reporting to the engineering manager you will be responsible for the day to day mapping requests as well as the ongoing asset information register update.

The second role is a few hours west of Melbourne and it is anticipated that you will be required for 6-9 months to assist with a spatial information implementation project. Those with a solid ESRI background and or QGIS are sought for this direct hire staff/contract role. It is imperative and a pre-requisite that you have previously worked in local government environment.
